Hello hello, it's been a long time since I last blogged on this dA journal of mine.. not that I've gone completely comatose but there wasn't much dA worthy to tell y'all about.

Firstly I got my own camera, a Canon EOS 450D. Which means I don't have to keep running back to the school to borrow one and I can just shoot on my own time and target. Yay! ^_^v the newfound freedom so rocks.

Anyways, the horrible exams are over which means less time to hit the books and more time to one of the two things I love best, photography- yay!

Recently Photography > MJC had what my senpai termed the "Photo Week" where we literally went wild, bringing all sorts of things to the study room cum makeshift studio to try our hand at studio photography. Had some awesome shots, plus I learnt useful stuff about studio photography during the course of the studio days, hope I'll be rich enough one day to have my own studio with all the gizzmos yeah?

Another photography-related activity I've become involved in is The Doll Affair, a photography competition that my friend roped me in to help her with.. basically she provided the doll and the setup and my provided myself and my camera. easy shit? NO. one of the sets we had to do in complete darkness and I was almost shitting my pants going about it 'cos I was about knee deep in pond water and my knowledge of night photography is basically zilch! So I'm really keeping my fingers crossed.. oh well, you make mistakes, you learn new things. Ciao!
